Puja Vidhi
Preparation:
Clean the puja area and place a clean yellow cloth for the idol.
Bathe and wear yellow or white clothes.
Setting Up the Idol:
Place the idol or picture of Goddess Saraswati on the yellow cloth.
Bath the idol in Ganga water and dress it in yellow clothes.
Offerings:
Offer yellow flowers (marigold), Akshat (rice grains), white sandalwood, yellow roli, yellow gulal, incense, and yellow-colored sweets.
Prepare yellow-colored foods like saffron rice and sweets as bhog (sacred food offering).
Worship:
