This prestigious knighthood order is typically conferred upon Heads of State, foreign Sovereigns, and members of foreign royal families as a symbol of friendship and goodwill.The award was presented to PM Modi by Kuwait’s Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, during a ceremony at the Bayan Palace in Kuwait City.
